Former US President Donald Trump has been charged with 34 felony counts related to allegations of falsifying business records in New York.
The charges were filed by the New York Attorney General, Letitia James, after a two-year investigation into the Trump Organization's financial dealings.
The charges allege that the Trump Organization understated the value of its assets to obtain loans and insurance, while overstating the value of its assets to lower its tax bills.
If convicted on all charges, Trump could face significant fines and up to several years in prison.
